I Wish I Was A Parisian Lady

After discovering this photography series I am a Parisian Lady by Baudouin...yeah I think I want to be a Parisian Lady, a bit challenging I know, but all things are possible.  I am in love with this series that captures wonderful ladies in the middle of their day doing their typical thing.  There is so much personality and such amazing stories captured in each of these images and spaces!

These are some of the most inspiring studio live/work places I have seen.

Feeling Pink

Happy Friday!  Hope your first week of 2011 was a good one!  I'm kinda freaking out about all these random deaths of black birds, doves, fish, and crabs what about you?!  So for this reason I'm just going to think about pink or something like that cuz it's just so darn innocent and sweet.
Ice skating in the sun, surrounded by flowers, with a goose on your head, now this is life:-)
I need some more pink in my life!  If I had this pink dining table maybe I'd have more dinner parties...Goal for 2011!
A bubble bath with my Tokyo Milk No 02  would be so good in this pink bathroom and in this beautiful clawfoot tub.  As my mom says if this scent was to have a color it would be Light Pink.  Thanks Mom, this was the best gift ever!
Bubble Bath and then breakfast in bed.  Yeah this soft pink room is NICE!  And I know it smells like Tokyo Milk NO 02!

Amazing Owl, Can You Hold Me Up?

My grandmother passed away a few years ago and I miss her very dearly.  I discovered that she had this amazing collection of vintage owl jewelry and I am now the proud owner of many of her pieces.  My aunt gave me another one of my grandmothers owl necklaces for Christmas this year which I am so thankful for and I love it so much!  Thanks Shelby!  These little gifts mean so much to me and everytime I wear one of these pieces I feel like it has the power to hold me up just like this awesome guy would do!  Oh owls and grandma I love you!

Happy New Year + Domicile ID

Happy New Year to all of you!  I'm super excited about all the possibilities and opportunities 2011 is about to present.  I can't remember the last time I was actually this ready for a new year!  I'm ready to refocus and let out all this energy that has been brewing up inside.  So many wonderful things happened last year and some not so wonderful things, but many were blessed with amazing success and have so much to be excited about.  Here's to a new year filled with even more joy, success, much love, and pure happiness. And wishing everyone balance and harmony between all that life brings your way this year.

What a great year 2010 was for Amanda and Jolene over at Domicile ID.  Jolene studied interior design at Iowa State University with me and I am sooo proud of her and of course Amanda too!  In case you missed it, Jolene's condo was featured in the last issue of Rue magazine, which was jaw dropping by the way, as is Jolene's condo.  I know Domicile ID has an incredible year ahead of them and I can't wait to see more amazing work from you two lovely ladies!  Much Love!

Love the warm and cool color combination.
Classic touches and vintage flair goes far here.

By keeping your major furniture pieces neutral you can easily change the style and feel of your space by swapping out your accessories.
I love the choices of artwork and accessories so much though I don't know if I'd ever want to change:-)
Oh sure Jolene, I'll come over for dinner!
I love the high back chairs they make the dining seem so much more intimate!
Oh I LOVE that chair.
Wishing you many successful and productive meetings sitting in this chair!
Some prosecco and lemon bars for the next meeting please!
